Presidential candidates focus in national security

The Democrat Hillary Clinton and Republican Donald Trump both participated in a forum entitled “supreme commander” in New York organized by the CNN television BBS, which was focused on national security and foreign policy.

Clinton said that the most important quality id a President is to own absolute strength when it comes to War and Peace.

“What is needed in a President commander in chief, is someone who listens, who evaluates the information, which is able to distinguish very difficult options upon to make a decision” said the Democratic candidate.

But during his speech, Trump accused Clinton of ignoring the national security advisers to the terrorist organisation ISIS, between 2009 and 2013, while she was the Secretary of State.

“I believe that under the leadership of Hilary Clinton and Barack Obama, the generals have turned into ruins, so far as it is shameful for our country” said Trump.

During a speech in Philadelphia, Trump said that if he becomes president, the number one priority to the US commanders will be a plan to defeat the Islamic State, adding that he has his own “secret plan”.

Clinton responded that “The secret is – he has no plan”.

The first debate between Clinton and Trump is scheduled for September 26th.
